Karydi beach

This is a little precious jewel in the crown of Sithonia, an exotic beach featuring white sand and rocks, a pine tree grove and turquoise water.

Two little rocky capes create an unexpected bay in the eastern part of Vourvourou verifying the uniqueness of this place. The beach has a north-eastern orientation so it is protected from the south winds, so common in Sithonia during summer. Thus the water is almost always calm and warm. Furthermore, it is not at all deep; actually you may walk for several tens of meters into the sea.

Notice that the place is small and therefore crowded during high season in summer. So if you want to avoid the crowds, you may come in a less busy hour of the day like late afternoon or early morning.
